Within these programmes, ECS collaborates with the Instituto per la Coperazione Universitaria (ICU) of Italy in an annual scientific and cultural congress for university students. This event brings together students from all parts of the world and promotes international solidarity and understanding among the youth of diverse cultures. In a similar fashion, ECS promotes occasional regional workshops jointly with other African NGOs.
