MICRO-PROJECTS
The micro projects of ECS are small-scale, site and service development projects of short duration, which are tailored to various needs of rural communities in Nigeria.
They are usually in the areas of education, health and rural development in equity. Specifically, the Educational Co-operation Society works in partnership with other organizations and development agencies to carry on Schools sanitation and hygiene education, provision of social amenities and basic infrastructure for rural schools. It also promotes health outreach and primary health services in various communities.
In the past six years ECS began purposely designed rural development interventions to strengthen civil society in rural areas of Nigeria and to foster endogenous development in equity.
