UNIVERSITY CENTRE PROJECTS
These are projects directed at graduate and undergraduate students. The Centres are private university residences that provide good accommodation for students and an atmosphere conducive for study. They offer a wide range of formal and informal academic tutorials, information technology skills and further professional training along with basic moral and cultural formation.
The goal is to complement the academic and professional preparation that students receive from the various universities, with a view to building up a corps of young people who are able to excel at their chosen professions and approach their future lives and careers with the uprightness and sincere commitment that society needs. The Prelature of Opus Dei takes care of the activities of moral formation in some of these projects.

IRAWO UNIVERSITY CENTRE, IBADAN
Irawo University Centre established in 1969, is a private hall of residence for male students, affiliated with the University of Ibadan. It is the first University centre started by ECS. Plans for the current permanent site started in 1983, constructions in 1988 and was completed in March 1990.
The centre aims at complementing the formal academic training which the students receive at the university. This is done by fostering the academic, professional, cultural, human and spiritual development of the students. Irawo provides the warmth of a family atmosphere which is conducive for serious academic work and the formation of character. The centre is directed towards creating an environment conducive to the attainment of excellence not only in learning but also in character among our youths. It is primarily an investment in people.
Activities of a spiritual nature are entrusted to the Prelature of Opus Dei, an institution of the Catholic Church. Irawo is open to individuals of all races, nationalities and creeds.
AKOKA STUDY CENTRE, LAGOS
Akoka serves the male students of the University of Lagos. It provides a suitable atmosphere for intense study and cultural growth with the sole objective of forming future responsible and loyal citizens. The centre is still on a temporary site, thus, the construction of its definitive site constitute a future project for ECS.
HILLPOINT UNIVERSITY CENTRE, ENUGU
Hillpoint University Centre was started in 1991. It is located almost opposite the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. It serves to provide training in the academic, professional, spiritual and moral areas of life. The centre seeks to inculcate virtues in the young men who frequent the centre. These virtues will help them to be gentlemen, who possess excellent work ethics, high moral values and a deep spiritual life.
ISIUWA STUDY CENTRE, BENIN
Isiuwa Study Centre offer young men human, social and professional training: giving them the tools that they need to be academically excellent, responsible citizens, God fearing individuals and future professionals. Isiuwa is dedicated to seeing a new generation of young men with integrity, high moral standards and positive systems.
The centre provides an atmosphere conducive for study, offers a wide range of formal and informal academic tutorials, Information Technology (IT) skills and further professional training along with basic moral and cultural formation. The goal is to complement the academic and professional preparation that students receive from the various universities, with a view to building up a corps of young people who are able to excel at their chosen professions and approach their future lives and careers with the uprightness and sincere commitment that society needs.
UHERE STUDY CENTRE, ENUGU
Uhere Study Centre is a private male hall of residence located within walking distance from the vicinity of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Started officially in 1991, it recently moved to its permanent site. The centre aims at fostering excellent character development in the young people who have access to the centre. Along with this, they are taught to live a sense of responsibility which helps them live their lives in a wholesome and focused manner. Uhere Study Centre provides an atmosphere of intense academic work, necessary for attaining academic excellence. Its serene and pleasant environment facilitates the cultivation of friendship amongst those who come to the Centre.
