In consortium with four other non-profits, ECS is promoting the empowerment of women and vulnerable groups for participation and inclusion in social and economic development in peri-urban areas of Lagos State. The project is funded by the European Union and managed by the British Council, and works to transform power relations in rural Itamapako, strengthening women’s self-esteem, influence in educational and community planning, and leadership in traditional decision-making spaces.
